2017 Fundraising Team Focus

  • Upper Hutt School’s fundraising focus this year is for the development of outdoor learning spaces. Children learn inside and outside the classroom and we want to develop outdoor spaces that excite, that calm, and encourage different types of play and exploration, for example an amphitheater, quiet spaces, vibrant gardens and sun shades while using a variety of materials, art and plants.

    Upper Hutt School Family Fun Fiesta

The Upper Hutt Fundraising team is made up of parents and supporters from the school who raise funds to enrich our school environment. 

The Team meets twice a term, in the staffroom at 6:30pm.   We are  a focussed friendly group, who work alongside the principal to purchase items for your children that are carefully selected by the school staff.

New Team members are always very welcome, and we appreciate that the level of involvement from each member is always dependent on the individual’s personal, family and work commitments and that this will alter from time to time.  We all bring many attributes and skills to the team which enables us to achieve fantastic results for our school.  If you are interested in joining our Team please do speak to one of our Members (we are listed below), or please come along to our next meeting to find out more information and see what works for you. 

Alternatively, you may wish to become a Friend of the Team and support us by volunteering an hour or two to assist at the fundraising events we have organised.  We are always appreciative of any extra help!  If so, please contact one of the Team or email us at fundraisingteam@upperhuttschool.nz with your contact details

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 12th September 2017 at 6.30pm in the school staff room. All welcome.

    • Equipment for school’s groundsmen
